You can choose to take the plane or high-speed rail to arrive in Chongqing; we will arrange for professional staff to pick you up, take the car to check in at the hotel, and then start the nightlife in Chongqing.
There is no schedule for this day; after checking in at the hotel, you are free to do activities.
(You can find a hot pot restaurant downstairs from the hotel to experience the warmth of Chongqing, and after eating hot pot, you can stroll around the night view of Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, then return to the hotel to rest.)

 

Day 2: One-day tour in Chongqing

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a special vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 and take you to [CiqiKou Ancient Town]. CiqiKou Ancient Town was originally built during the Song Dynasty and boasts a unique landscape of "one river, two streams, three mountains, and four streets," forming a natural good harbor and serving as an important water and land port along the Jialing River. It once flourished with "During the day, millions of people passed by and ten thousand lamps lit at night." The ancient town of Ciqikou is rich in Ba-Yu culture, religious culture, Shaji culture, Red Rock culture, and folk culture, each with its own distinct characteristics. A thousand-year-old stone-paved road in Ciqikou is a microcosm and symbol of Chongqing's ancient city, often praised as "Little Chongqing." The development of Ciqikou includes traditional performances such as oil pressing, silk drawing, sugar making, dough figurine making, and Sichuan opera, as well as various traditional snacks and teahouses.

Breeze in the evening wind along the river, taking in the scenery on both banks (Hongyadong, Qiansimen Bridge, Chongqing Grand Theatre, Chaotianmen, Raffles City, Nanbin Road, confluence of two rivers), as the charming mountain city unfolds before your eyes.

Day 3: Chongqing→Chengdu (high-speed train)

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a special vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 and take you to [Super 80th Street], where citizens can be seen taking photos everywhere. Here, there are open-air movies, green-skinned trains, enamel cups, and newspaper and magazine stands that evoke memories of the 1980s. After renovation, this old residential area, built in the 1980s, has not only added some cultural elements of that era but also naturally preserved the old street's atmosphere of daily life. The transformation has given the once dilapidated neighborhood a new look, making even those who had already moved away consider returning.

 

[Tongyuan Light Observation Deck] Observation Deck is located in Nanping Sujia Dam, a new hot spot in Chongqing.

[Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street] The Guanyin Bridge business district and urban tourism area has been rated as a national AAAA-level scenic spot. Day 4: Sanxingdui→Wuhou Temple→Jinli Ancient Street

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a special vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 to take you to visit [Sanxingdui]. Note: Due to special circumstances, if Sanxingdui cannot be visited, we will arrange for a tour of Jinsha Site instead! (The Sanxingdui Site audio guide costs 30 RMB per person, and the earphone costs 20 RMB per person;If necessary, please bear the cost yourself,the tour duration is approximately 2 hours). Sanxingdui got its name from three prominent loess mounds that stand out on the Chengdu Plain.It is a modern thematic heritage museum in China, a Bronze Age site in southwestern China. The discovery of two large sacrificial pits from the Shang Dynasty has brought over a thousand rare treasures to light: the bronze divine tree, golden staff, and large standing bronze figure are all world-class finds. Additionally, the discovery at Sanxingdui pushes back the history of ancient Shu Kingdom to 5000 years ago. Among the most historically, scientifically, culturally and artistically valuable as well as the most visually appealing groups of cultural relics.

 

Then proceed to the [Wuhou Temple] (earphone 10 RMB per person at your own expense). Wuhou Temple is a place where the people affirm and praise the spirit of Zhuge Liang, the Chancellor of Shuhan, who "devoted himself wholeheartedly until his last breath." It is also the origin of Three Kingdoms relics and consists of four parts: the Han Zhaolie Temple, Wuhou Temple, Huiling Mausoleum, and Sanyi Temple. It belongs to the cultural heritage protection area of the Chengdu Wuhou Temple Museum. After visiting, head to [Jinli Ancient Street], which features typical residential architecture from the Ming and Qing dynasties in Chengdu, consistent with the theme style of Wuhou Temple. Visitors can enjoy a cup of hero wine, sing a segment of Three Kingdoms opera, and savor a taste of Three Kingdoms sentiment. There are buildings such as the Wine Boiling Workshop, A Dou Well, Zhuge Well, and Black Robe Lane, allowing visitors to experience the ambiance of "dreaming back to the Three Kingdoms." Regular performances include characteristic Sichuan operas, courtyard movies, and folk art shows by local artists. During traditional festivals like Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival, Jinli Ancient Street hosts themed activities with unique customs.

Day 5: Panda Base→Kuanzhai Lane→People's Park→Chunxi Road→Taikoo Li

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a dedicated vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 to take you to the [Panda Base]. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a national AAAA-level scenic area, a recipient of the United Nations' highest environmental award, "Global 500," a national science popularization education base, a national youth science and technology education base, a postdoctoral workstation, and an international science and technology cooperation demonstration base. It is also one of the new ten scenic spots in Chengdu. The Giant Panda Base is a world-class institution for panda breeding and research, built to save the endangered giant panda species, and can be called the "Panda Home." Visitors can tour the Giant Panda Pavilion, Butterfly Pavilion, Red Panda Pavilion, wild giant panda living area, and the giant panda maternity ward.

 

Then head to [Kuanzhai Alley] (a visit of about 1 hour), which is composed of Kuan Alley, Zhai Alley, and Jing Alley arranged in parallel. All are traditional courtyard houses with blue-gray bricks and tiles. This area is one of the larger Qing Dynasty ancient streets that remain in Chengdu, and it is known as one of the three major historical and cultural conservation districts alongside Daci Temple and Wenshu Monastery. Next, visit [People's Park] (a visit of about 1 hour), where you can stop by "He Ming Teahouse" to experience covered bowl tea. The "Matchmaking Corner" in People's Park has become a beautiful sight, adding to the park's charm!

 

After the tour, take a vehicle to [Chunxi Road] where the origin of "Chunxi" is explained --- the phrase "a crowd bustling, as if ascending a spring terrace." The entire design not only reflects Chunxi Road's long commercial history but also highlights its status as a nationally renowned commercial street. [Taikoo Li] presents traditional architectural styles with an extremely modern approach, blending international perspectives with innovative design concepts for dining and cultural brands, offering a dual experience of fast-paced and leisurely living.

Day 6: Chengdu free travel to the end of the trip

Sleep until you wake up naturally, free activities, end the unforgettable journey to Bashu, and return to your warm home. (You can wander around Chengdu, taste the special food, and feel the culture of Sichuan)
