You can choose to take the plane or high-speed rail to arrive in Chongqing; we will arrange for professional staff to pick you up, take the car to check in at the hotel, and then start the nightlife in Chongqing.

 

There is no schedule for this day; after checking in at the hotel, you are free to do activities.
(You can find a hot pot restaurant downstairs from the hotel to experience the warmth of Chongqing, and after eating hot pot, you can stroll around the night view of Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, then return to the hotel to rest.)

 

Day 2: Wulong Three Natural Bridges→ Fairy Mountain

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a special vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 and take you to visit Wulong's [Three Natural Bridges]. Known as the Three Natural Bridges of Tiankeng, this is a rare geological wonder and an ecological tourist area in China, featuring typical karst topography. The scenic spot is renowned for its three majestic stone arch bridges: Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge, which form the largest cluster of natural bridges in Asia. Located at the southeastern edge of Wulong District, 20 kilometers from the city, at the boundary between Baiguo Township and Huakou Township, these three naturally formed stone arch bridges are characterized by their grandeur, uniqueness, danger, beauty, seclusion, and grandeur.

 

Afterward, visit the [Fairy Mountain National Forest Park]. Fairy Mountain National Forest Park is a national 5A-level scenic area located in Wulong District, Chongqing Municipality, covering a total area of 8,910 hectares with an average elevation of 1,900 meters and the highest peak reaching 2,033 meters. It is renowned as the "Oriental Switzerland" for its uniquely charming high mountain meadows, rare snow-covered forests in the south, and picturesque green wilderness landscapes. Together with the mystical Furong Cave, the beautiful Furong River, and the world's largest natural three gorges geological wonder, it forms Chongqing's premier tourist and vacation destination. The average temperature in Fairy Mountain is 15 degrees lower than that of the main urban area of Chongqing, earning it the nickname "Summer Palace of the Mountain City."

Day 3: Chongqing→Chengdu (high-speed train)

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a special vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 to take you to the hotel. Visit the thousand-year-old [Ciqikou], which was originally built during the Song Dynasty. It boasts a unique landscape of "one river, two streams, three mountains, and four streets," forming a natural good harbor and serving as an important water and land port along the Jialing River. Once, it was bustling with "thousands of people bowing in broad daylight and ten thousand lamps lit at night." The ancient town of Ciqikou is rich in Ba-Yu culture, religious culture, sand-ceramic culture, Red Rock culture, and folk culture, each with its own distinct characteristics. A thousand-year-old stone-paved road in Ciqikou is a microcosm and symbol of Chongqing's ancient city, often praised as "Little Chongqing." The development of Ciqikou Ancient Town includes traditional performances such as oil pressing, silk drawing, sugar making, dough figurine making, and Sichuan opera, along with various traditional snacks and teahouses.

 

Visit the light rail Line 2 [Liziba Observation Deck] to experience one of the 18 strange things in Chongqing, "light rail passing through buildings", which is called a god-like transportation by netizens. Watch the light rail line 2 fly through the air and pass through the building to witness the miracle moment.

 

After visiting [TESTBED 2 Chongqing], Eling Print Factory Art District used to be a printing factory. In a certain historical period, like many other factories, it was abandoned. Later, like the few lucky ones among them, it was reborn, in a completely different way, and became Eling Print Factory Art District Cultural and Creative Park.

 

Afterward, visit the [Hill City Trail ]. Chongqing is a city built on mountains, with many adjacent areas having a height difference of several dozen meters. Transportation relies on these urban paths that wind up and down the hills. The current Mountain City Path was developed on the original site of the old mountain alley. Here, you can find the most beautiful mountain-side boardwalk along the Yangtze River, an endless stretch of bluestone pavement, buildings, and traditional ancient trees of Bashu culture. In particular, at the Shiban Slope section, a suspended boardwalk has been constructed along the cliff face to enjoy the river views. Along the Yangtze River, following the ancient city wall of Jintang Gate, it follows the natural terrain. Standing on the boardwalk and looking out, the scenery of the southern bank of the Yangtze River unfolds before your eyes, forming a distinctive scenic belt characteristic of Chongqing.

 

Then visiting the [Jiefangbei], Liberation Monument is one of Chongqing's landmarks and the only monument in China commemorating the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. It also stands as a historical witness to the victory of the War of Resistance and the liberation of Chongqing. The intersection centered around Liberation Monument includes surrounding streets such as Minquan Road, Zou Rong Road, and Bayi Road, which form the most bustling commercial district in Chongqing. The [Bayi Road] food street offers almost all the delicious cuisines of Chongqing, along with more affordable options like the Zhongbai Department Store and Pacific Department Store, making it an excellent place for shopping.

 

Tourists have rated it as a national AAAA-level scenic area due to its traditional architecture and folk customs of Bashu culture. [Hongyadong], originally named Hongyamen, is one of the ancient city gates of Chongqing. It features the "stilt houses" characteristic of Bashu traditional architecture, integrating six major sectors-catering, entertainment, leisure, health care, hotels, and specialty cultural shopping-through layered platforms, stilt houses, staggered stacking, and cliffside construction techniques. This unique "three-dimensional skywalk" has become a distinctive urban scenic area and commercial center with layers and texture.

Day 4: Qingcheng Mountain→Dujiangyan

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel at about 07:40. We will visit the thousand-year-old Dujiangyan Irrigation System, the source of Tianfu, where nature and culture blend perfectly. We will also visit the first famous garden in western Sichuan / Qingxi Garden / Yan Gong Road / Wotie / Zhang Song Ginkgo (the fruit tree of the people in Journey to the West), and Fulong Temple.

 

In the afternoon, visit Daoist origin site [Qingcheng Mountain], known as "the most secluded place under heaven" and listed as a "World Cultural Heritage." As the saying goes, "Since ancient times, Qingcheng has been the most secluded place; seeking immortals and asking questions, one's aspirations will eventually be fulfilled." Enter through the mountain gate, climb up (Line A cable car), passing through the Rain Pavilion, Natural Pavilion, Joyful Nest, and Scenic Pavilion, you will arrive at the boat ride across Moon City Lake (Line B hike). The Natural Picture Hall is located on the ridge of Longju Mountain at the archway post, a Qing Dynasty pavilion with ten corners and double eaves; after passing through the Shade Pavilion, Green Condensation Bridge, and Five Grottoes, you will reach the site where Zhang Daoling, the founder of Daoism, lived and preached -- Celestial Master Cave. After your tour, descend the mountain along the same path, feeling the lush greenery of Qingcheng, with peaks, valleys, and temples all hidden among the dense and verdant forests. The natural beauty of the Taoist temples and pavilions blends seamlessly with the mountains, forests, rocks, and springs, creating the "seclusion" of Qingcheng.

Day 5: Panda Base→Kuanzhai Lane→ People's Park→Chunxi Road→Taikoo Li

After enjoying the hotel's buffet breakfast in the morning, a dedicated vehicle will pick you up around 07:40 to take you to the [Panda Base]. The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a national AAAA-level scenic area, a recipient of the United Nations' highest environmental award, the "Global 500," a national science popularization education base, a national youth science and technology education base, a postdoctoral workstation, and an international science and technology cooperation demonstration base. It is also one of the new ten scenic spots in Chengdu. The Giant Panda Base is a world-class institution for panda breeding and research, built to save the endangered giant panda species, and can be called the "Panda Home." Visitors can tour the Giant Panda Pavilion, Butterfly Pavilion, Red Panda Pavilion, wild giant panda living area, and the giant panda maternity ward.

 

Then go to [Kuanzhai Alley], which is composed of Kuan Alley, Narrow Alley and Jing Alley in parallel. It is all ancient quadrangle courtyards with blue bricks and tiles. This is also one of the larger Qing Dynasty ancient streets left in Chengdu. Together with Daci Temple and Wenshu Monastery, it is known as one of the three major historical and cultural city protection areas in Chengdu.

 

Then I went to [People's Park] to check in "He Ming Teahouse" and experience the covered bowl tea. The "dating corner" of People's Park has become a beautiful landscape for people!

 

After the tour, we will head to [Chunxi Road] where the origin of "Chunxi" is explained --- the phrase "a crowd bustling, as if ascending a spring terrace." The entire design not only highlights Chunxi Road's long commercial history but also showcases its unique characteristics as a nationally renowned commercial street. [Taikoo Li] presents traditional architectural styles with an extremely modern approach, blending international perspectives and innovative design concepts to create dining and cultural brands that offer both "fast fun" and "slow living." After the itinerary, we will return to the hotel for rest!

Day 6: Chengdu free travel to the end of the trip

Sleep until you wake up naturally, free activities, end the unforgettable journey to Bashu, and return to your warm home. (You can wander around Chengdu, taste the special food, and feel the culture of Sichuan)
